Direct Fire Kits are HERE
Ok sorry for the long long long wait.
The "Lite" Kit is here with pricing, the other kits are still unfinished because I changed the design slightly and need to finish testing them.
SO here goes.
Flame Works Lite
Complete bolt in kit less mounting equipment (I had some aluminum brackets fabbed up but after the price of aluminum and the price to have them made it just wasnt worth it. So I figured you guys can get creative on mounting).
ALuminum case with a heatsink design to help disapate heat (3.54"x2.0"x4")
Kit comes with unit with 2 independant ignition modules ready to drive 2 coils (coils are included)
All wiring and connectors are included (but not shown).
Price $175.00 Coils included
Flame Works
The Flame Works kit is slightly larger then the kit above but same style box (4.13"x2.36"x4").
It uses neutrix connectors, features increased current flow.
The ignitors deliver up to 50% more energy then the unit above.
Features a dwell control circuit that ensures long, consistent coil charging and the current control circuit protects against coil overheating and resists false triggering from the RFI of high output coils.
Price $200.00 Coils optional
Flame Works Pro
The Flame Works Pro kit is even larger then the Flame works kit measuring in at (4.13"x2.46"x8").
The Pro kit features everything in the Flame Works kit with the exception of even better ignitors.
The Pro ignitors will deliver a consistant fault proof spark to 9,000 rpm.
They feature 25% higher coil drive currents than the Flame Works model. This saturates the coil faster, which gives you more spark energy at high rpm.
Price $250.00 Coils optional

Very Nice!!!
I'll be in the market soon.
Did you put this on Sterlings backyard co-op thingy yet?
Also, if you where to produce mounting brackets (as an option) I would buy them, I'm not very creative I guess.

Nice job! Worth the wait!
Get it up my site, too! There's not much action there cause there's only a few things featured.
I'm in for a Flame Works Pro kit when I see a little more info.
Maybe we can work out a deal on your Sterling Carb order.

Does the 'box' have to be mounted in the engine bay area, or can it be re-routed inside the cabin (save mounting space/brackets). Any problems posed with this idea?

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
The biggest difference I noticed with an MSD direct fire was vastly improved cold starting and a very stubborn refusal to stall when cold, or any situation where it doesn't fall too much lower than than the lowest mark on the tach (500 rpm). It feels like it could probably idle at 400 rpm (though not smoothly).
What benefits would this kit have over an MSD? The price is about the same and the MSD is proven and comes with a warranty. Also, the rev limiter on the 6AL DOES work.

So the Flameworks and the Flameworks Pro packages come standard with or without the coils at the estimated price? You have coils optional for those two, and coils included with the Lite version. I just want to be sure on this. ~Gavin

I would say underneath the dash on the driver side might be the furthest.
Also remember if you choose to mount the system there you might get RFI interferrence with your car radio.

I could make it like a 6a with 1 system capable of running 2 coils and the Flameworks kit would literally cost $80 less, so your basically getting 2 6a's for $200

V8klr, does your kit have a rev limiter or can one be incorperated

The new pickup circuit can detect movement change in the distributor at just 100 rpm

This is because I recomend these coils instead of the ones that come with the lite kit.
$35 coil
$50 coil
$36 msd coil
$110 msd coil
$130 msd coil
Just pick which ever ones fit your budget, the higher priced coils are the better, excpet the $36 msd is tied with the $35 coil.
Remeber you will need 2
