Question diesel rotary

Aside from fuel delivery issues, would it be possible to make a diesel rotary?

Been there done that. and they even make them run on LPG. I wish i could remember the site where they ran the diesel motor. I know, it was a North American University, but can't remember which one. Crap it's late.

Seen a few aircraft application diesel rotaries. Very sweet little machines. Heavy, but simple and powerful.

i know its liquid to gas then back to liquid before it enters the engine

sheesh! if you look closer, that 2 rotor displaces 11.6 L (700 CI) thats freakin huge! No **** 1000hp, and redline - 3600 rpm, the engine alone weighs 2200 lbs - thats like a SA!!!!!! ****, for 9X the displacement of a 13b N/A it sure isnt as efficient - would be 1200 hp, but i bet the score engine lasts twice as long...
