Is this a decent deal

I just made a deal to get a gsl-se rear end, from brake to brake, full suspension and a front suspension for $500 including shipping. I am ready to send off my money order, but first wanted to make sure i wasnt getting ripped. is this a decent deal?? thanks. do 3rd gen rims fit gsl-se bolt patterns?? i think 3rd gen rims would look sweet on a first gen.

I'd pay $500 including shipping, only if the parts were in perfect (considering age) shape.

If this is just for the rear that's in excellent shape, then it sounds reasonable.

Any ideas how many miles this stuff has and if the rotors/pads are any good? Stock suspension or aftermarket? If it came out of a 200K mile car with cooked brakes and OEM suspension then it doesn't sound like all that good of a deal to me. However, if it's a low mileage unit with newer suspension and good brakes then it doesn't sound too bad. Are you getting all the Watts linkage as well?

unless you have a gsl you also will need the brake master cylinder for the proportion valve. I did this but i am nto positive if it is required. I gave 200 for everything rear and front and he threw in some ebachi springs. Rotors were wore and that was about it.

My input? For that $$$ I'd want the front suspension too - and because it's nice to have the same bolt pattern on all 4 corners. Get the front and rear, and it ought be halfway decent mileage for that price.

If you get ripped post his location...

i will. yeah it is front and back. and i just found out that there are only 68k miles on the full unit, front and back. not bad. if he tries to rip me its on, everyone in my family is an attorney. : ) even im on my way to law school.
