I swear, I come around and every time I log in there's at least one thread that's been closed. If even a hint of an argument comes up, a moderator closes the thread. Why? For fear someone's feelings might be hurt by the words rustang or honduh? Come on man.. people LIKE to argue (or debate), and there's enough open minded people around here to straighten out the few idiots who think all domestics suck, or all Hondas suck or whatever.. So don't go around closing all the threads just because one guy is an idiot and said something stupid. Reply to the post if it's warranted, reminding him not to flame. If he keeps doing it, then PM him, delete his posts, or suspend him for a day or two, telling him that he should have stopped after you warned him the first time.
and rx7passion, WHY did you close the thread on the dude and his wing? Where did you read anyone flaming? We were all stating our opinions, and specifically saying "this is my opinion.. I don't like it" or "I personally like it.." So would you moderators PLEASE quit being so **** about everything? Cause right now I'm thinking that all the power is just going to your head(s), and you're locking threads left and right.

He closed it cause it was another Saint007 thread lol. Mr Passion knew it wouldnt be long until Saint pulled out his "200hp out of a stockport 12A in my inverted wing, clear taillights, neon framed license plate FB" BS. How can you NOT flame on something like that?

It's easy not to flame...it's called self control...Example: Stop your male primal stupidity from taking over your brain and just don't reply with a stupid opinion. I have 200hp on the dyno chart, and NO...after seeing how you guys treat people on this forum, I WILL NOT send any of you proof...because I don't have to prove myself to anyone...especially not anyone on this damn thing. And as far as bashing other peoples things. Thats been going on for centuries...it's called coveting...meaning you see something that you are too lazy or poor to get for yourself, so you bash it.....Envy is another good word for what half of you are doing. You are more **** than any moderator on this forum. You have your heads stuck so far up your asses that you can't see something thats good for the life of you. I feel sorry for you guys, when you get older people are gunna hate you more and more because you have no open minded attitude. Good day!

Saint007, I suggest you reread the last thread you started... seems to me like you're the one who's asking to get flamed. Coming on here advertising fake dyno numbers and insulting anyone who doesnt like your car will definitely NOT get you the respect you think you deserve. It's you who needs to learn to respect other peoples opinions. In fact, why should anyone have any respect for you since you're the one who is so keen on telling everyone YOUR opinions of them. You think the people insulting you envy you?
. Please humor me... why should we envy you??

Please also keep in mind that we as moderators are simply trying to do our jobs to the best of our ability. It is not malice, it is not arrogance or self-righteousness -- it's just a fellow RX-7 enthusiast trying to do what he or she has volunteered to do.
We don't simply do something to prove that we can. Rather, we have valid reasons. For some things, this involves considering things that have happened in the past that other members may or may not be aware of. For example, if a topic was brought up in the past and became a problem, and it suddenly pops up again and we see that it is going the same path as the one before it went, then we will likely close it.
In the end it is our judgment call to make, and believe me when I say that it isn't easy. However, we must do the best we can to ensure that topics can be discussed or debated, but also keep the forum "clean" for lack of a better term. Sadly, some topics are so polarized (it took a long time for us to be able to discuss V8 swaps in here without it getting out of control for example) that it just takes time for the subject to calm down.
In closing ... you guessed it, thread closed.
