CRAP!!! I locked my keys in the 7

Jeez, if you have one of the earlier models you could have just gotten in by pushing up on the lock rod (it goes diagonally from the lock **** to the lock cylinder) with a screwdriver inserted through the door handle slots. Only trick is getting the dorr handle down enough for it to unlock.
This works on most Japanese cars. They really didn't know anything about theft prevention.

This is INCREDIBLY EASY. Anyone can open the door locks with a large paper clip, coathanger, or a piece of stiff wire. It takes approximately 5 or 10 SECONDS or less, depending on how coordinated you are. Remove the interior door panel and look closely where you see light coming through under the door handle and it will be evident how to do it.

I dont understand how the **** you guys are locking your keys in. Everytime I lock my doors, I have to do it by hand from the outside. That means when I shut the door with the lock down, it pops back up. Why do you guys have different? Mind you I have 79.

Kinda like how Hurst's Pro-Matic II shifter requires you to ratchet forwards to Neutral, pull up out of Neutral before you can push it into Reverse, then push it down as you put it into Park.
I never actually shifted accidentally into Park, hitting Reverse at 30-40mph was usually enough to sound the dumbass alarm.
