It cranks!

Yesterday I rolled my SE out into the driveway on a bright and sunny 70 some degree day. YEA!

Well hand turned the motor until I couldn't any more, got a breaker bar and with a little bit of force was able to keep spinning it. It freely spins now and it gives a good sound. WOOSHx3.

Put the plugs in and battery in and it started cranking. Now just to play with it a bit and get it running peachy keen!

Sounds like it's getting close to being ready for a spirited drive.

Mine was free, and there's a diamond of an engine (intact and not blown) under the hood, but the rest of it is pretty rough. Cranked mine by hand today after I took all of the plugs out for cleaning. Three even double puffs of air. Plugs were all covered in crap, but they're NGK. Nice and clean now. The interior is pretty well shot and the carpet is slowly rotting. So, goodbye old interior, hello WRX seats and stripped interior. Just need to figure out my starter problems and I'll be that much closer to a spirited drive myself.
