I see no reason that this couldn't be done with FC rotors and calipers on a GSL-SE hub that's been machined down. The only sticky bit is the whole T2=5-bolt thing. May be able to use T2 calipers on base rotors... lose some braking force that way, though. Shouldn't cost much to have T2 rotors redrilled, I imagine.

Need a real shop, engine swaps and welding outside is a real pain (costco canopies have saved my life, got 3 'em with 100 amps of power to run the "shop")

NAh, I stole the idea from some GM A-body guys!
I've got a garage, but it's for soring the parts and the project car. And junk. the running cars get worked on outside, in the blazing Texas sun. Need to buy a couple of those canopies.
If you look at the kit that PaulAber posted a picture of above, it looks like the center hub may be a standard SE or 12A hub/rotor machined to fit the seperate disc. Might not be, but that should work.
Like I said, I want to use FC calipers and discs mounted on the SE hub. Have ot look at what it'll take to make a caliper mount. Fortunately for me, my dad has a lathe and mill in his garage...

Well, if they redrill them, I wonder if they could reproduce the 4 X 110 mm pattern? I love my Weds Autobahns and, at 15" already, they should clear the calipers, right?...I guess I'll pop 'em an Email, too....

Redrilling rotors is relatively easy. Hubs not so easy. You could always try the truncated-rotor-as-hub approach that I've been making noise about.
I'll try it when I get a couple dozen round Tuits.

I too apreciate CP's effort. It is definatly a good thing to see people dedicated to the FB. Personally, I am sick of FC and FD lime light. I guess that's what we get for liking old 100hp cars. It's tough for any shop to get started, so keep it up CP!!

yeah, and on a side note, if these will work with the S model Im tottally in I dont care the cost, Ill get the money, I just experianced MAJOR brake fade o my way home today, car would barely stop, my brakes hardly worked, if this kit will in nay way help me counteract this, Im all for it
