i talked to robert and it was simple miscommunication, thumbs up to rotaryshack, it was a shipping problem and i changed my phone # and forgot to tell him. so everything is good now!

unfortunately, you're almost completely correct with this. however, i beg to differ. i've never dealt with you and i'll probably never need to - time will tell. however, i read the threads and i've watched you, and based on what i've seen i went to your defense. so i did see what i perceived to be the truth, which was the good in you, in this case ...

so you've earned at least one believer in your reputation without any direct contact. how's that?

 

Not necessarily. I read that thread and found in to be in poor judgment from the git-go. It seems that some people feel empowered through the use of forums and the Internet to completely disregard civility. This is compounded with the 'gotta have it right now' mentality that I see a lot of folks getting sucked into.
It's much easier to bang out your frustrations on a keyboard in an effort to satisfy this urge of instant gratification.

I guess it's considered 'old-fashioned' to exercise restraint and exhaust all avenues of reconciliation and communication before one assigns culpability and blame in a public venue.

 

Glad to see everything worked out. I had thought Robert had seriously improved his business. I'm glad I wasn't wrong.
