It might be turbo... It might be fast... Hell, it may by some chance even look good (As good as a Civic can look.)
But there's still gonna be one thing wrong with it.

take it to the track, once you still run nothing better than a 14.0 (if that) you will realize you made a mistake. a turbo on your fb can hit very low 13's and even 12's easy. there are turbo crx's and civics for days here and i watch them scoot around making all that noise but not really going anywhere. it's kinda sad. dont get me wrong, there are some really fast ones.... with 10 grand in the motor it's just not worth it. but, have fun. get you some apc parts and stuff

**** you can run a mid to high 13 on a gslse with intake exhaust and ignition ( advanced timing and msd box) why go to a honda where even a high compression motor with bolt ons only gets you low 14s? Just aint right. Unless you sell me your old gslse real cheap then id say GO FOR IT jk dont do it and if you do keep the SE so it doesnt cost you a lot to make the honda mistake

hes thinking that he should get a civic...rice it out...and stick a massive bridgeported 13btt in it...lol...then when people ask what hes got under the hood he can explain the long and ellustrious past...but you will be back!!

If you want a honda, buy a shell and swap in one of the newer k-series motors. You can buy a k20a3 for well under 1k$ if you look hard enough, 5 spd manual w/ 160 hp is more than good enough for an older, lighter shell. Makes a nice, very fun to drive daily driver.
There are plenty of honda sites out there.
But I just still can't understand the reasoning as to why.

All I gotta say is at least he isn't considering blasphemy...better that someone else get his RX-7 if he's tired of the game than stuffing a boinger in there "looking for performance and/or reliability"...

good plan. because of gas prices i have been considering such a thing as well. A turbo hatch is a very fun car. I have one friend with a turbo'd 92 and another friend with a JDM swapped b16a swapped 92 with all kinds of goodies. . The car weighs in at like1850 with driver. . crazy ****.

i have pleanty of friends that have turbo hondas, they get poor gas mileage, cops constantly harrass them on the motor swaps, non smog eqipment, exhaust, constant vehicle impounds, , and on, and on... the cops here leave the rotaries alone, dont ask me why, but cops here would rather pick on hondas!!
oh, i almost forgot, ive beat all of the turbo hondas around here with my white car!!! thats sad!!!! automatic used 13b turbo motor smokes a K series turbo honda anyday, i know from experience!!
