confused.. need help

i have mixed input on this.. can you swap a 13b from a gsl-se into an SA... what would i have to change? I have heard you cant do it.. and you can but the front mount is different.. please help me clear this up..

Front mount is different. This requires either modifying the one you have, or getting the GSL-SE engine mounting plate. The 13b is like 10mm longer than the 12a.

okay well i will have both cars.. so can i just rip what i need off the SE?

If you have a donar car, then you should have most everything needed, other than anything that needs replaced. Be sure to use the SE clutch and pressure plate, as they are about 10mm larger OD than the SA, otherwise, even the SA tranny should work fine.

cool.. the donor car only has 55k on it.. so i think i should be fine.. thanks for your help.

I hope the donor car's body is beyond repair. There are many who would kill for an SE with only 55K.

well my SA is almost perfect.. and the donor car is about perfect.. but it has no title.. and i would have to pass echeck with it.. so i am gonna do the suspension swap.. and maybe the engine too.. after that its fair game..
