I'd go down to a local shop and see what they recommend. Do you have the equipment to media blast the entire chassis?

Have you ever done that before? It can be easy to warp the metal if you're not very careful.

I must unfortunately agree with the others on that time estimate. I have 200 hours in just the body work on my FC restoration, and that just getting me to primer. I didn't even have any major damage, just replacing fenders, molding in a spoiler and fixing dings. It's a SLOW and tedious process if you want it to look factory stock good (or better). If you're wanting this to be a 100% car, expect 400-600 hours AT LEAST.

However, if it will make you feel better, just hope you're like Flash Gordon and it only takes 200 hours. I keep telling myself I've only got a few more hours left in my car every time I work on it (probably about 200-300 more to go on mine).

Good luck, it looks great!

Yeah I have blasted a lot, I used MGO last time but it was a little too abrasive, it works well with hard parts but thin metal it can cut right through... I have nrewer fenders and that will take away some of the body work as well as a FG header pannel...
