Question Color of spark plugs...?

I just finally got new spark plugs for my 7, also ordered a K&N air filter, for a total of 100 bux CDN.... thought that was kinda high... oh well. But on to my question. I have been tinkering with the carb, trying to get my car to run better over the past couple of months. When I just changed the spark plugs, about an hour ago, I noticed the old ones were a whitish color. Does that mean that its running too lean, rich or something else? Or could it be from the mmo I've started using in the tanks of gas? Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

Not rich. Rich would be black. Not sure what whiteish means though.

$100 is a good deal dude... I pay almost ten bucks CDN per plug, and K&N filters go for about sixty.

You're just spoiled with the fact that other people can get four plugs for the price of one of ours!

White.. hmm.... well I know mine were a light light brown when I was running lean, so I s'pose that uber-lean could be white... dunno though, someone else jump in on this..

what's wrong with them? anywho, yes i would say you're running a little lean, probably more at idle though. put some more gas in your mix using the a/f screw on the carb. check the float level as well.

Those plugs look healthy, although a little on the lean side. They don't look fouled at all. Use a wire brush on the electriodes and some antiseize on the threads and throw 'em back in.
