Cold start Runs fine, hot start Crap!

Ok car starts and runs great cold, pulls hard and everything even when fully warmed up. But when the car is hot and i try starting it it will idle but idle really low, and no ammount of throttle input with change anything...nore does the choke do anything.

now when i cold start i have a hight idle, but the idle speed screw has an effect on idle, just havne had time to adjust to right.

Also when im running after a cold start it revs fine, but when i get high up in RPM, i get some vibrations.

So far only thing i can think of is sticking throttle plates after shut down.

the fuel atomizing will natuarally cool the carb, but when hot and no fuel to cool, throttle sticks? if so then i have something way out of spec.

Not sure if this will help, but maybe your hot start assist is broken/malfunctioning? AusRotary.com • View topic - Hot Start Assist Description Please?
