cold start
Have an 84 with the 12a this usually happens around 30f or on a damp day. Starts fine but during warm up it starts to spit and sputter then die. starts right back up and sometimes acts like nothing happened. Any ideas?

Check your choke flap. If it isnt adjusted properly, it'll intermitently make your car run like crap durring warm-up. Next time it's running rough, look down the air cleaner and see if the flap is shut. It's closed by engine vacuum, so shutting off the car and starting it again usually fixes the problem.
