Exclamation Clutch Problem!!!!

I was coming home from work late last night and as I was turning the corner like a block from my house I pushed the clutch in and was going to change to second gear all of a sudden I felt a sudden loss of pressure on the clutch pedal and could not shift into second gear. I had a problem with the clutch master cylinder I bled it and the problem went away but it seems to have completely screwed me...does anyone have an idea what could be wrong with the clutch hydraulics...there is no pressure on the clutch pedal. Would appreciate the help.

Check the slave cylinder. I just had to rebuild mine. It could be responsible for exactly what you described. It's not too hard to rebuild, and it's cheap to do.

I'm a little confuesd. Yopu said the problem went away after you bleed it? But you're completly screwed? Anyway I have the same problem, I rebuilt the slave cylinder to no avail,so I bought a new one repalced the line to the slave, and have odered a new master cylinder.BTW I found it much easier/safer to disconect the line from the steel line on the firewall rather than trying to thread the slave onto the line as it does not have a swivel on it( you have to twist the line other wise and I don't think that was too good for it so I replaced it as it formed a leak at the slave fitting from trying to do it with out removing it from the hard line on the firewall)Does that make any sense?
