Clutch Master Cylinder Bad

I have a 1985 Mazda Rx-7 GSL with 35,000 miles on it. The car sat for about 7 years and I had to replace the clutch master cylinder a year after i started driving it again. Just recently, the car sat for about 3 weeks while I was getting the wheels redone. When I drove it, the clutch felt weak. The next day, I went to start it and the clutch went to the floor, and there was all of the fluid under the car. I refilled it and bled the system just for grins, but it did not work. I was wondering if you may know of why this happens or if you have seen this problem before. It seems odd that I would have had to replace the master cylinder twice now. Thank you for any help on the matter.

someone posted in a recent thread that "a strong master can kill a weak slave." did you only replace the master and keep the orig. slave?

Replace them both. I replaced the master about a year ago and during rush hour on Friday evening in one of the busiest sections of town blew out the slave.

Absolutely a drag...
