clutch help

ok, i replaced the clutch, pressure plate, and throughout bearing, but while i did this i broke my clutch line, the rubber part. i have a new line on the way, but i don't feel like taking the tranny out again. is there a way i can install the line without taking the tranny out again?? and what is the most efficient way to bleed the system?? any help would be great-thanx

You don't need to remove the tranny, or the slave for that matter. You just need to get creative about getting around all of the stock crap that is in the way.

Pressure bleeder if you are by yourself. pump the clutch and open the bleeder nipple, if you have help. Similiar to bleeding the brakes.

alright, so i installed the new line, bled the line, but it still doesn't feel right. the clutch doesn't engage yet, and i adjusted the free play, but neither way made it work better. the pedal is all the way at the floor when it feels like the clutch is engaging. like i said i adjusted the free play, but i can't figure out why it still doesn't work. any suggestions would be great--thanx

If you replaced everything back properly, the is no need to adjust the freeplay. Either the clutch hydraulics aren't bleed properly, or a part was not installed correctly. The only reason you might need to adjust the freeplay is if you installed a heavy duty, as in stage 3, pressure plate. Even then, that is doubtful.

Have someone push the clutch, while you watch the slave piston and clutch fork move. If you get little movement, rebleed.
