this is the chrome plating im already looking at getting another engine. but is this any good at all or is there anything I can do to fix it. if i can't do anything myself i'll send it somewhere to get it fixed

2+mm from the edge gone then not good for a rebuild. I would still use that though.

it's a 13B from my GSL-SE. but it's still ok to use? im not going to have alot of power. im just doing a mild street port. 2 piece Apex seals 3mm. and am running 2 1/2 in exhaust

If you are going through the trouble of a streetport, then I think you should replace your housings. I searched and searched and found a 12A with 30k miles on it and used that for a rebuild. I am not doing any modification, though, and if new housings were readily available, I would have bought them.

if you are paying someone to put it together for you then you might want to get a better set . i build my own motors so i would use them as it is cheap for me to open and close a block .

I am building it myself. I found another engine for $300 but im really low on cash as i have spent so much on the rebuild kit. I think im just going to go ahead and use the housings. I to the micrometer to it and it's only just over 2mm
