Actually I didn't know about that PDF myself, I'll need to browse through it.

It'll seem like a bullet to me haha. I'm used to driving a conversion van and a chysler pacifica. almost anything will be faster lol. Thats good to know though. Thats more or less what i want. A nice car to just kind of cruise around in and enjoy the weather. I just love the character of the car itself.

Now why would you go and tell me that haha. I heard it was 9.1 for the 12A. Anywhos, it probably seems slower in the pacifica cause it swells with speed more than a throwing you back in your chair accel.

If you are planning on modding it would be pointless to mod without getting a manual. I've heard that the auto really holds the car back and doesn't let it rev much, either. So if you want to make the car faster at all make a 5 speed on the top of your list. That in its self should make the car much more fun to drive.

hey welcome to the form i just bought a 82 auto on the 02-23-09 i couldn't stand it any longer swapped it out about a week ago. It was a job but it came out good. but i have a bering nose in my tranny so its coming out after smog 4 a rebuild. My advice stop driving it and sell it back to your friend. and run away from it and never look back. lol you don't want it. trust me. you will git addicted to it and then thers no turning back. well Goood look with the car my friend.
