Thumbs up Cheap and easy rust removal!!

I found this neat technique that works great on bringing life back to those rusting bits. Cheap, easy, and slightly dangerous! Hooray!

I don't see much advantage to this over a good Muriatic Acid soak.

You can pick up a gallon of the stuff at any hardware store for just a few bucks. Still dangerous, you don't want that stuff on your skin or in your eyes, but at least you won't blow your house up trying to shine up some parts.

Muriatitic acid is hydrochloro acid, nasty stuff. Like Ken says, it's cheap. And dangerous. And it works, takes the rust right off.

I like the electrolysis rig though, very clever!
