changing SE bolt pattern to 4x110?

So I'm wondering what would be involved in changing an SE's bolt pattern to 4x110 (non SE rx7's) or if it's even possible?

Does it involve just a swap of the hubs or more to include suspension pieces?

Thanks for the help.

for the front or rear or both?

basically for the rear it would require a brake and axle change. for the front a hub assembly (spindle is the same). This is assuming 84-85 car.

yes both front and rear.

So the 4x110 parts need to come from an 84-85 car as well? I can't get it from any other year?

the early year parts would be the small bearing so no.

why do you want to down grade?

^wondering the same thing. You wouldn't just be changing the lug pattern, you'd also be going to smaller brakes.

But yes, everything would have to come from an 84/85, the earlier stuff is different.

Thanks for the clarification.

I have 4x110 wheels and the car I'm looking to get is an SE so hence the need to change.

Would it really be a down grade?

well the brakes are better on the SE. the lug pattern is considered a "better" item since its normal 4x114.3

I'm in Missouri. I'll trade you if you're close. I'll even power coat the stuff for free.

Yeah I'd make that trade as well, 4x110 is hard to find wheels for.

Thanks for the info and offer guys. I don't have the SE yet but I am looking at picking one up.

Siraniko,
I've seen a couple for sale in LA but none that looked right for me. If you know of a clean one let me know. I'm in SD and will travel for the right car!

I'd trade 4x110 for 4x114.3 as well, I'm in MN so it wouldn't be too far of a drive to meet up and trade bolt patterns
