royal purple, amsoil, redline, neo, penzoil synchromesh(you can buy this at any auto store and it's the same stuff as GM, only cheaper)

also if you are changing your diff oil, be sure that if it isn't LSD ready, you'll have to add an LSD additive.

the tranny holds around 2.1 so 2 bottles and a smidgen is normally anticipated.

amsoil worked for me i had a 3rd downshift problem replaced with amsoil and it fixed it up now i cant even tell im downshifting what a difference. amsoil good stuff.

You will find that one bolt has a magnet. That is the one that goes in the drain hole to catch metal fragments chipped from your trans gears. Don’t get it reversed w/ the filler bolt. Just a note.
BTW I like Amsoil.

Redline MTL in all 4 of mine. 2 quarts. Shifts smooth and quick.

I have the guy at the station put it in on the lift while he's doing something else. I pay him cash and he gives me a break.

Good idea to refill once in a while. Bought a new 74 REPU and the diff and trans had horrible black goo in them.
