Change-Over to Rack and Pinion (Any suggestions??)

I would like to convert my 83 RX-7 to Rack andPinion. Has anyone gone through the process? I'm looking for suggestion / recommendations.

I have one suggestion, good luck. I have thought bout converting over to rack and pinion, but I don't have power steering and don't want it and I've never seen a manual rack and pinion.

I had the idea to get a rack from a toyota corolla of the sr5/ae86 variety, which is rear steer. Fab your own mount for it, and see if the FC column goes in.. Quite a project to be sure, but doable.

for the colum use the FB upper and the FC lower, mates together perfectly

you can use any power steering rack, turn the wheel lock to lock several times to bleed of excess fluid and cap the lines, now you have a manual rack...

I think the CP racing rack setup looks quite poorly fabricated for the price they want, looks like a back yard DYI hack job to me.
