I would love a set of the flares you made a while back. the guy who ended up with them stuffed p225 in the front and rear. If you could do from CF fenders with the flares biult in as one peice and did rear flares you would have a wide body kit. I would buy that in a second.

what about the front air dam on the 79? A CF version thats extends a little closer to the ground would give any frist gen more front downforce AND better cooling.

How about CF/kevlar bumpers? stronger and lighter then steel for sure.

And last but not least the fron thing before the hood. make one of those CF and vented for the intake....

OMG I want ALL of that. Seriously my first gen would weigh less the 2000 with all of that and that would be sick!!!!!!

You are spot on the money. My hood has black edging around it which makes it look like it finishes a long way before it actually does in the picture.

how about a c/f sunroof panel. i have considered trying to make one, but haven't had time to try it yet. also, something i was thinking about doing out of glass, but c/f would look very cool, is flush mount headlights (non pop-up).

Yay! Do I win a free hood? lol

But yeah, knowing ho much effort you put into meticulous detail, I figured it had to be an illusion.

C/F sunroof panel would definintely be viable. Do you know if they are still available new from mazda? Wouldn't want to mold from anything less than a new or absolutely mint panel...

Some people call them "Vent Visors" or "Wind Reflectors". Basically I would like to drive high speeds (freeway driving) with the window down (removed AC) without getting any of the noise.

Has anyone ever painted any of these carbon fibre parts? I like the idea that its lighter, but I don't like the look of the black.

That hood would look absolutely AWEsome on a K8 (Tornado Silver) '80.

You can put one on mine, if you want. I won't mind.

I'll even let you take pictures...

Now why the hell would we want to do that and ruin the whole mythical aspect of it all?
