Car's gonna be sitting for a lil while.....
I'm not sure what the topic title would be for this particular subject.....so I didn't conduct a search.
Anyways, I'm gonna be out of state, and my car is gonna be going into storage for a few weeks. Is there anything I have to or should do to make sure that my car runs exactly the way it did before I left?

Sitting only a few weeks shouldn't affect it too much, if at all. If everything is in good order, it should run just fine when you get back, but if you wanna be on the safe side, drain the fuel system including carb of all fuel and throw some fogging oil in the engine. It'll take a few minutes to start back up when you get back, but it should run the same.

A few weeks shouldn't be a problem, a few months is something different. There may be a thread in the archives or a link in the FAQs on long term storage, don't recall for sure.
Sitting for a few weeks, I wouldn't go through the trouble of draining the fuel or carb. If anything, fill the tank up and add some Sta-Bil.

I stored mine this winter, few weeks is probably fine, maybe seafoam it, I have the whole bit, plastic sheet underneath to prevent condensation, exhaust ends bagged, and intake bagged. and battery hooked to a timed charger.

For only a few weeks, I would do nothing. I agree with Trochoid to fill the gas tank up to keep moisture at a minimum. I you have some there that you can trust, have them start it up every 2 or three days.
