I cant speak as a street guy but as a racer, as you can see, I am going with the fiberglass....weighs almost the same and I am painting so no use in covering up that nice finish
Not sure if I would run carbon if I had a street car or not? The parts wont fit on my wifes expedition or my F150..hehe

1st7 - Jesus your car is sweet!! Love those coil overs! Price?
Lukus told me that the bonnet was worth $1000AUD so the carbon fibre 1st gen bonnet might be a cheaper alternative to the Mariah fibreglass one

Thanks! The project is taking much longer than I expected but I am hoping to be racing again by Sept. or Oct.!! I was hoping to have it at Seven Stock 5 but my paint & body man is going in for a hip surgery in July and cant get it done.!! I got the coilovers form Ground Control I dont remember the price but they are very reasonable!

I would love to get my car over for 7 Stock but I don't have the few thousand $$$$ it would cost![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I have started a new post about the outcome of investigations....lock this thread possibly?

Hey AJC13B,
I just talked to th guy that is helping me out with my fiberglass/carbon bits. The mould is finished!!!! He is laying up my fiberglass hood this weekend, I hope to have one by next weekend to show. After mine is done he is making a carbon one for me to sell. I own the moulds.....and yes they are very expensive!!!!!! As of right now I will just have the hood, headlight lids, and the valance between the headlights.
The mould was right at $1,500 US for just the hood
