Lightbulb carbon fiber parts pls read!!!

Hey guys im a new member to this board and owner of of a 1983 gs. I read some treads about cf parts for the RX-7 and dissapointed to see nothing being made for our car, it so happens that i do cf parts for a living and wold like to give it a shot if there is enough interest.
we can do anything interior, and exterior. Pls let me know your thoughts on this as i have my car to be the doner of parts.
let me know what parts would you like to get done and we can start with the ones with most demand.

Paulo.

I would love to see interior parts, like the door panels and by where the 4" speakers and kickplates are.

on the doorpanels added bonus if designed to use the lower map pocket and pull of the original,

the center concil would look great in CF also

oh yeah, hoods would be great

Fazzt, you have to be careful when it comes to CF parts for these cars. Hoods are a great idea, but there's one deterring factor: almost everyone on this forum, including myself sometimes, is very cheap lol. Not to insult anyone, but this is the home of the $500 RX-7 club. There are only a few people who will spend $300 on a hood for their $1000, rusted out car. Personally, I'd love one, but it seems that whenever somebody mentions being able to make CF parts, that's all it gets to, is talking about it. Make a hood, and I'll buy one. Some other parts we'd love:
Vented/non-vented light covers
Sunroof?? (don't think anyone's mentioned this before, but It would save the trouble of letting your stock roof fade in the sun)
Console surround (around heat/cold dials/ashtray/shift boot)
Front valence(??) (the one that has Mazda on it)

Zac

PS. Put a T2 hood scoop in the hood and you'll sell twice as many. Stock mounting hardware too!

HOODS!!!!!!!!!!!

a hood with the t2 scoop that could be made for like 250 or 300 that would be amazing. and as for interior a dash trim, the middle piece around the stereo and around the shift bezel and then the door trim that would also be good, if you could give prices on these and shipping costs that would be great.

center console.

Can you drill carbon fiber once it is molded??

you could sell blanks, with just the heater controls, and then people can drill them for stereos, guages, ect.

problem is, I beleive there are 4 diffent center console styles/shapes. s1,s2,s3 and the SE.

s1 and s2 have lever heater controls on the top and s3 and SE have dial controls. I dont know the specifics.

i hope sumtin really comes off this cuz a lot of people say it but almost no one does it.....i guess it's cuz of us being cheap...lol....i think u should make the centre console like a plain piece and let people drill in the holes for watever they need according to their requirements....like for me im just gonna have an audio headunit and a couple gauges no ac vents no heater controls nuttin!
