your thinking the way i am but i pulled them and cleaned them and it runs the same and i think something is stiking beacuse when i hit the gas and let off it gose down but i have to pull the pedal back sooo it will close all tha way!!! but and way im happy with where it is but im not happy with the miss it has sooo any more input on this?

 

ohhh and yea lll emisions is still there!!!

 

OHHHHH shiiiiit, i think you have the throttle cable hooked to the wrong linkage. i've seen this plenty of times. if you can pull back on the gas pedal and it brings the idle down then yea, switch the cable to the next linkage over. see how that works

 

ok i will try but im pretty sure its where it needs to be but i will give it a shot any thoughts on the miss it has? besides plugs?

 

Just for information, my car used to backfire alot and the headers would glow bright red. An alternative to guessing that the cats are clogged is that the idle mixture is extrememly lean. That was the problem with my car, fast idle, red hot headers, and flames shooting out my tail pipe at night. ok ok, the flames were really cool, but its not healthy for the car.

ok here it goes when i mange to get it to go it will idel for 2sec then die soo i screwed the idel screw right in thinkin this will keep the sucker goin well i had a little trouble but got it goin idled really fast for bout 5-10 seconds sounds like nothins wrong but everytime it just dies iv played with timing acell pump nut,mixture screw
i have everything for it to fun fuel,air,spark theres fuel comin from the jets

heres what i have 12a nikki,no emmisions,2gendf,jusr added a block off plate to the manifold im pretty sure its not leaking seeing vaccum leak causes higher revs guess thats not my problem

do you think i have somthin clogged inside the carb it was runing okay before i did the block off plate but not positive on that
