Carb guru's.need help

Allright, so ive just ordered my holley 600 kit from racingbeat and the mallory 4070m fuel pump.

getting low on money to spare here, i was curious, what else will be needed to do this. im worried that i may need a fuel pressure regulator, i dont have the cash for one at the moment as i just spent a good chunk on the carb and fuel pump.

what's the pressure rating on the pump? the holley requires 6 psi. the pump i use is a 6 psi pump so no need for fpr. if the pump ur using is more than that, u MIGHT be able to get by without a fpr by using a fuel return, but that's kinda iffy.

According to the specs for that pump, it lists max pressure at 4 PSI.

just buy a cheapo FPR, i think Holley makes one that costs 1/4 of most others.
