carb gasket
I need the gaskets that go on the spacer between the carb and intake. does anyone make those? or is there even a gasket that goes on it. i took the spacer off and there werent any gaskets on it. the spacer was badly cracked and i suspect that was the culprit of my vacuum leaks and no idle. does anyone make that?

the spacer has its own builtin gaskets thats why u found none u may need a new spacer plate or try fix it as stated above..
in my experince iv found only to get vaccum leaks when using gaskets that leak confused me for months

The phenolic spacer does not need gaskets, it is self sealing. Using any kind of sealer will work it's way into the vacuum passages and cause issues. If you have torn up the face of the spacer, replace it.

At the dealership.
Originally i thought there was one too. I searched everywhere to find one and never thought to ask the forum. One day i tore the thing off because my car was running so badly and found the phenolic spacer as Trochoid explained. Then i removed the shutter valve, dabbed some permatex on there, and installed my new carb. Works great.
