Car wont start, any idea's?

So I cant really work on my car due to my building rules so I have to wait till late at night to get anything done so everything is little bit by little bit.

The starter wasnt working so I replaced it, then had to replace battery cables and now the starter is finally doing something!!

To bad the motor still wont start D:
It sounds like its catching but not igniting. I can hear my fuel pump but maybe its not getting enough fuel? Sorry Just heading to bed so everything is a little lack luster.

But heres a video to give you an idea of whats going on.

Pull the spark plugs to see if they are wet, at the same time you can check for spark with the plug. make sure to KEEP THE SPARK PLUG from its port, in case fuel exitings the motor.

I may have been slightly intoxicated while posting this after relieving some stress on GTA5 with some friends lol.

I did happen to pull a spark plug wire and noticed a large amount of corrosion so im going to go on a whim and say that has something to do with it.

Trying to stay away from spending to much money on the car right now as its just going to be parked and prepped for race season next year >.<

I have already spent more money on this than my 1970 Datsun and its not even en my name Legally yet lol xD

I will post an update soon, when i dont have to jack the car up its a lot easier to just say F*&^ it and work downstairs in the visitor parking lol.

So new starter wires didnt really help much, really not wanting to fork over ANOTHER $50 for plugs as well but a good friend of mine mentioned you can clean the plugs up a little bit so I might give that a shot.

What plugs are 50$ ? Just bought new ngks for 7$ each. If your not sure about fuel take a sodas bottle and poke a little hole in the top and then put a little gas in it and squirt some down the carb(keeps you from accidentally poring a **** ton of gas down your carb and flooding it) If it's got compression and it's got spark it will fire. If it does that will tell you that you are having fuel issues. If still don't start then it's a ignition problem. And if $ is a problem u can run the cheap *** auto lite plugs. Yeah there cheap and not Ngk but better than old crusty fouled out plugs. I think there like 1$ each lol. And make sure I use your choke on cold starts. My old car never wanted to start with out the choke.

I had the same problem, I hope this helps:

"....replaced the dist rotor, dist cap, plug wires, plugs, and alt fan belt. I think that the new plugs what was really needed.

$88 to Rock Auto for premium parts vs. $98 plus tax if I got things from O'Reily/Autozone/AdvanceAuto. So Rock Auto saved me $10 + $8 tax...."

Plugs were fouled (when i originally purchased the car 4 years ago and then sold it to a friend he never changed the plugs either lol) so I just sanded em down and realized that working on your car intoxicated and cranky leads to flooding your motor heh.

So I turned the motor over a few times with plugs out and shot the fuel out then went to work on cleaning up the plugs. After leaving for about a half a day she started up on first or second crank.

thanks again for your help guys.
was just really impatient because had to get the car out of there ASAP so they wouldnt tow/the insurance was expiring on it.

When its back on the road it will be getting new plugs anyways and a few gaskets here and there haha.
