car will not start after battery relocation
well to start off my little story, i traded my honda recently for a fb with 60K miles on it its only a gs im pretty sure and its a 12a carbed...well the radiator went bad and it was cheaper to buy a huge aftermarket radiator than it was to buy a factory replacement..so i picked up this huge radiator and electric fan from summit which is very close to my house...well i fit it up and realize its not going to fit with the battery so i mount and hook everything up in the car and forgot about the battery...after another week of work i had the cash to do the battery relocation wich wasnt bad at all...i placed the battery in the fatory strage bin behind the passengar seat ran a 2 guage positive wire into the engine bay and mounted another 2guage wire to the factory seatbelt bolt for my ground...in the engine bay i connected the 2guage to a distribution box which i ran wire to the starter and electric fan...but i noticed the kid that had it before my made a huge wire mess hooking up his subwoofer which i took out...well after removing the wire nest i wasnt sure if any fatory wires ran their?..i also noticed a tiny wire coming from the stock positive battery wire is that for my fuel pump?..if so where does it hook up to?...it was to hard to distinguish where it went with the wires all connected in the mess the kid made. anyway the car gets power fine and it only started for a second and shut off and never started again..also i did the flooding proceedure so its not flooded..thanks for the help guys

The fuel pump wire is under the driver side storge bin tap in to it an hook up to 12volt hot wire. To see if you can get the fuel pump to start working. If the fuel pump wont work the fuel pump may be bad.

PC has 2 important questions. the 84 & 85's fuel pump doesn't run when you turn the key on, only when the engine is cranked or running. I'm assuming the engine does crank since your looking at the possibility of a fuel problem. Simply pour a small amount of fuel into the carb and crank the engine to see if it trys to start. Also if I understand, you said you grounded the battery to the seat belt mount. Make sure you still have a ground between the engine and the body/frame. Its not likely the problem but something you should check especially since you relocated the battery.
