Car stalls while driving and wont turn over after stall and stop
when im driving my rx7 the car will work fine until it stalls in the middle of driving it and when i stop it on the curb it doesnt start up again. why is this happening? If i let it sit for a few hours it sometimes turns back on. if it stalled and i push start it it also turns on ? easy fix?
new oil change oil filter , fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs (has one diode thingy instead of four)
it also has a tiny radiator leak, overheating?

Did you use the correct spark plugs?
Can you see the rad leak and are wondering if you are overheating or you are overheating and are assuming you have a rad leak? The temp guage should give you some indication of water temp....
MORE details. What year model engine. all of this ios important. If its the fuel injected model it could be different problems than the carb'd one. If its stalling it is one of 3 things fuel, air or spark. Air is usually in good supply so its spark or fuel.
Does this happen after a certain amount of time, randomly, certain gears or rpm. will it happen when the engine is cold. Does it sound/feel like its flooding? Check your spark/coils/ignitors.
More details please, it all helps give a diagnose vs my car isnt working, why. Well... lol

its a 1982 mazda rx7 12A
was sitting in sun for prob 8-10 years
i cant seem to find the spark plugs with the 4 prongs on ly single where can i get em?
the temp meter looks good but the "add cooland" light is always on :/
fuel - fuelt filter fine brand new but maybe the fuel pump?
it stall randomly right after i give it a good acceleration.

Mazdatrix, Signal Hill, up the road a ways from you. Do not mess with the spark plugs, you pretty much have to use the type specially for RX7s or you might damage your motor from burned off sparkplug tips.. Mazda dealers up here in Canada usually have them, so your SD dealer should have them too.

Definetly need the right spark plugs, NGK (number is in the archives) or somone uses 2626's. (different brand). The add coolant light is just a sensor, might be unplugged or dirty, just check your coolant level.
I bet its the plugs, sounds like you flood it. Get the right plugs and get back to us.

driving fine then stalling could also be a sign your fuel TANK is clogged up. Especially likely in a car that sat for year. This is what it may be doing:
-tank innards shedding into fuel, eventually plugs up exit pipe to fuel filter.
-car stalls, won't re-start (but it will turn over, right? just not catch?) - because fuel outlet plugged and suction from fuel pump holds clog in place.
-car sits. Pump off. clog now can drift away from outlet and after a few moments, car will restart and drive until this repeats.
Does the prob happen ANY time or just when tank at or below 1/2 full?
My 7 did the same thing till I pulled the tank and resealed it. Typical long-storage problem with any old car. POR15 makes a fuel tank reseal kit for about $35. You'll need to drain (your tank has a drain plug) the tank, pull it, take it to a rad shop and have it chemically dunked/cleaned, then do the re-seal kit to re-coat the insides to prevent this from happening again. HINT: make sure you note/PHOTOGRAPH the various hose connections and which hose goers where on the tank!!!!!! There are about 4 of them (at least there was on my 80 SA).
And, yeah dood - get the right plugs ASAP!! Go to the Racing Beat website, they list the correct plugs for your RX
