Any update on this issue? I'm still suffering here... It really becomes undrivable in the range, I think it's getting worse. I just had the plugs checked and they were in great condition, cleaned them up too, still same problem.

A mechanic noted that my 1000cc primary injectors being run by the digitech series 1 pro ecu was not a good mix, could be contributing to my problem... I also didnt have a dizzy shield, but I've got that now and it has made no noticable difference.. He recommends I swap the primary 1000cc with the original secondaries and dyno... I forgot to bring up the issue of vibration - how could i forget?- theres a hell of a lot to do on my car :P

Any news would be great! Cheers

One time i worked on my car and drove it and felt a nasty vibration, then I remembered that i for got to tighten the clutch fan....opppsss... took care of that. Also I had an SE that someone torqued the bolt till it broke, and it would get a nasty vibration @ certian RPM's then I removed it and put a new one and took care of that problem...but If you saying that the shifter vibs nasty then maybe the driveshaft...I thought I had a tranny mount problem then got that shaft balanced and new U-Joints....WOW....all i can say.

Talking No more vibratron! =)

Sweet as! All fixed now

The problem with mine was the transmission mount.
- 1 - There was only one bolt between the mount and the transmission
- 2 - A previous owner had the exhaust welded onto the transmission mount, pulling on it
- 3 - The rubber was rock solid and had slid out of correct allignment with the mount sleeve

My transmission output-end was pretty much touching the right side of the chassis, which really aided in feeling the engine through the car. It has made such a difference to fix this! Silky Smooth

I also found my universal joints have a little movement in them. What I didnt realize last time after rebuilding them was that you need to punch around the edges of the sleeves to hold them tight in place...

Hope this helps someone..
