If your coolant jacket cracked, you indeed would be losing coolant AND blowing a ton of white smoke.

Combustion gasses being forced into the cooling system through a crack could cause coolant levels to appear that they have risen..... Let's hope that's not the case...

Cracked block may be caused by adding cold water to an overheated engine too quickly. If adding water to engine the engine should be idling and water added slowly. Usually people make the mistake of turning the engine off and then adding a lot of cold water. Short of cracking the block it can distort parts enough to open leaks in the seals.

lol i want my car back~ please help me GOD. or someone that in my mind will be god if they can figure it out~
dump some motor oil in the carb, about a 1/3 of a cup and if it starts then shuts off do it 3-4 times if it will not run without putting oil then you have problems

i have not exactly poored motor oil it in, ive done it with atf, and mmo, i think right now i have a cat soo clogged that nothing will work, also, ive come to the conclusion, im replacing every wire attached to the batter, including the one leading to the starter, why.? just so happens the wire going from the noid to my starter is no longer there, i went to check it when the starter died and well, a bunch of dust is now laying on my drive way some were.. so yeahh, ill get back to yeah on that one..

Okay... I just read through all six pages of this....

1. These guys here KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT... LISTEN TO THEM and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER

2. Fuel Air Spark Compression... thats all there is to it... it's not that hard, but you seem to be looking for problems where problems don't exist... Pull the starter, take it to a shop, have them test it... if its good, reinstall it, then check ALL the wires leading to the starter (replace)....

Good luck...

...but take your time, READ, and think it through...

if it has compression, it'll run... (with no need for cups of motor oil down your carb...)

Oh, and change your fuel filter(s) now! (also check the voltage @ the pump, and if possible fuel system pressure)
