Unhappy Can't Find any Mods :(

I have a 1983-85 RX-7, and i cant find any perfomrance mods to speak of.. I have visited nopi.com and they only have parts for the EFI RX's..

anyway... im just looking for an intake and an exhaust.. or a cool air intake kit..

i just wanna break the 200 mark, and im already running 150 give/ take a couple.

so if you have any interesting sites or know anyone that does this stuff.. just keep in mind im carbed with a 4 barrel.. not EFI..

Thanks a bunch all.. PE@CE

150 is about the absolute max for a stock port 12a, so you don't have 150hp now. If you don't have exhaust or intake, I'd say you have closer to 110-120hp. Without porting, nos, or turbo/supercharger, you won't get over 200.

so which one do you have? 83,84 or 85. 12a or 13b for the 84 and 85 model? If you haven't installed a header/intake already your given numbers are wrong (take 50). But to get to the 150 mark you will need an intake and exhaust. Both of which you can get at Racing Beat or Mazdatrix and EBAY/thepartstrader.com are going to be your biggest source of parts.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum. Also since your just starting out I will point out the search function on the top of the screen. Great website tool.

he said it was a 4bbl carb, its a 12a. I would suggest the RB intake, dellorto carburetor, and RB street port full exhaust. That will get you around the 150 mark, with high 15's in the quarter mile. Atkins sells a supercharger kit that is about 3000 dollars, but makes 270 hp at the engine (with a street port). Good luck

Welcome to the forum!

Yeah welcome to the boards. You'll find a lot of good info here by using the search function. Most of your questions have probably been discussed before, such as performance mods.

A good place I have had experience with parts is mazdatrix.com. They also carry RB stuff.
