can i bypass this?
ok so I managed to break this little thing here in the pic. I cant seem to figure out what it is or if I really need it. The car is a 1985 GSL-SE I have custom street port and polish, 750cc injectors removed secondary sleevs. when I was putting the engine back together I noticed this was broken, I'm not sure what it is and if I can just bypass it, I have blocked all the vacume lines on the car so far that I do not need. the car has been running since rebuild but right now it is not starting, could this be part of why?

It looks to me like one of those one way check valves that's in most engine bays these days. Sorry I can't really be sure about it, but that is what it is shaped like.
It's there for a reason. If it is one you should be able to blow (or suck) out of one side, but not the other. Also, they can be found at any auto supply place.

I may be mistaken..
But I'm pretty sure that connects to the rest of your oil metering injectors. That's a vacuum spider that attaches to your dynamic chamber. It creates a vaccuum to operate your oil injectors.
I think. I'm fairly sure thats what they do. I think its fairly important?
