a/c drama in my daily driver ...

My wife and i were driving around the other day , you know the worst time for your ac not to work . it worked untill i got to the store and when my wife an i were going home . the light was on but the ac was not working . the pump wasnt on . although the light was on .
i tried an experiment . it does work ! but not every time i push the button to turn it on ...
aneone had this problem ?
what can i do to correct it ?
is the vaccum switch going out ?

when it does come on it is super cold , so no problems there

AC whats this AC you speak of?? lol jk yeah check ur ground or the wire on the pump and if that doesnt solve the prob then jump 12v directly to the wire and see if it engages if it doesnt engage the its most likely ur pump......i have an extra one if you want...

Check the wire connecters at the pump and the pressure switch on the passenger side for corrosion. If that fails, it may be time to take it in for service.

ok guys , tried the ground wires , nothing loose everything is as it should be and as far as the pressure switch ... dont know where that is . is it in the car or in the engine bay ? either way . the thing still turns on intermitently . i have to fiddle with the switch to get it to turn on .
