I had my friend do mine. He said it was a spray, but I think it was probably a dye, and he was trying to mis-lead me so I would pay to have HIM do it again
Mine was once brown, but is now blue.

Boy, you'd never know that blue dash had been dyed. Some of the ones I've seen are left with this artificially shiny surface that just doesn't look right. But that one looks great, and looks factory done.

Yeah, my friend did a really great job. I've never been happier with a 'damn near free' mod. Well, except the rat's nest.
Don't get me wrong, I'm also a great photographer. It shines, just not as bad as others I've seen. It's sort of like when you put too much Armorall on a stock dash.
I'm going to ask him tomorrow what method and brand of material he used.

Heh, I KNEW this thread was here somewhere.
It's a kind of spray dye stuff. My Uncle is the one who did that interior. It's freaking BEAUTIFUL in real life. He used to get the stuff through a manufacture or something that went under shortly after he retired (coincidence? :P)
I THINK VB/BD is selling a very similar product now. It's a spray that CHANGES the color, rather than adding another layer of color on top of it. Sort of like a dye, but not quite. It's AWESOME though (the stuff my uncle used, will have to wait for the VB stuff to come in to know on that).
