bridgeport 12a?

heb09- its interesting your peak is at 7,500rpm which is more like that of a streetport. Also the Holley is smaller than many on bridgeports.
It suggests you have a 1/2bridgeport rather than a full bridgeport. The 1/2 set-up is designed to have torque come in strong at a much lower level round the 4,000rpm mark giving about 205-215fwhp say 170 at the wheels.
I believe its prefered by circuit racers as against the 1/4 mile racers who go for the bridge or jport. Thus its reasonably streetable.

I wish i knew for sure! lol.
I know its a tame bridgeport because sometimes it idles just above 1000rpm when its not going brap brap. When driving as long as I keep the revs above 2000rpm, it wont rock or anything

Sheesh! I leave the thread for 2 secs and there is 50 more posts!
Now rememeber guys : I`am still running the Nikki, with some jet changes.
Thats the reason for my "good" fuel consumption.
HEB09 : I dont want to call you a liar ,but the consumption is really super good and its difficult to imagine how it could be achieved with a 465 Holley.
12A Brideport with 600CFM Holley will make 250hp according to Racingbeat.
I`am happy to see that everyone isnt Turbo this and Turbo that.
NA Rotaries allso deserve conversation rights
Take care.

heb.. i have a 12a bridgeport i recently built. It idles with a nice brap at 2000rpm, i had the idle at 1000 and it sounded like it wanted to die... well it did stall a few times.
Its currently not set up right, i need a holley blue pump and regulator, and some bigger jets on my webber (currently 190 fuel, was told i need 200 or 220). Next time i fill up ill reet the odometer and see what i get.
Oh and i dont hit the power till about 4000, then i pulls hard till 7k when i run out of fuel.... damn stock fuel pump
All in good time

My bro’s RX-2 is equipped with a big bridgeported 3rd gen block/GSL-SE internals and 51 IDA. I idles around 1200 flat using drilled out idle jet to appx 80. No dyno or track time yet since he still need to break it in. It has been almost 2 years since the engine was built but he has no time to play plus he lives 1 hr away from me.
