No problem at all. Sounds like they are working just fine. If you can make a set of brake pads that don't squel or dust then let me know. I can make us both very rich.
You can get low dust brake pads but you can't get pads that won't sqeak. There are several things in the parts store that will help. Just go and ask one of the counter people what to use.

I'd try some brake cleaner. They also make this stuff that you rub on the backs of the pads. I've never tried it but i've been told it works. Ask the guy at the counter at your parts store and he can help you out. the sqeak usually comes back even if you get rid of it. If you can't get rid of it then you might need to try another brand of pad. As far as I know there is no sure method to make brakes quit squeking. Just try differnt things untill something works.
Good luck,
Mike

Ok, go to your local parts store and pick up a spray can of stop-sqeak or anti-squeak. The stuff is really sticky. All you do is remove your pads, spray the stuff on the back of your pads, let it sit for a little bit and then put your pads back on. Give that a shot and see if it helps.

Cheap pads (Like the ones I have on my 7.) are made of a softer material. They can wear smooth to the rotation of the disc. Try breaking hard while in reverse. It's a temporary fix, if none of the other suggested fixes work. It worked on my pads, although I never used Anti-squeal gel, nor turned the discs.
What brand pads did you get? I got Auto-Speciality or something. They come in this Gold box. Next time I'm getting a brand I've heard of.
