brake pedal whistles

the booster itself has passed all the tests and checks and is working. however, when the car is running, when the pedal is depressed, i get a quick vacuum whistle.

i'm going to dig into it tomorrow, but my question is, what seals the booster pedal side? and is it serviceable?

if the booster is ok, maybe its the check valve?

i checked the valve yesterday as well.

i just got done messing with this and as far as i can tell its nothing that cant be fixed without removing the booster. and seeing as this is my only car right now i'll just be replacing the unit. if one part failed the rest is sure to follow.

Video gives a good visual explanation of how a vacuum servp works..

If it is hissing when applying the brakes there is a vacuum leak in the booster on the pedal side.
