Brake Booster ???

I have searched, but have not found what I am looking for. I am in need of a brake master cylinder. While it is out, I am wanting to fix some rust on the brake booster. I have a 1984 with drums, that has a clean booster.
Now I know that the discs and drum cars have different master cylinders, as well as the 81-83 and 84-85. But could I use the booster from the 84 base model, with the right 83 master cylinder? Rock auto lists the boosters as different, but does anyone know if it is some minor difference that is easily corrected, or is it some internal difference, that is just better to get the right one and be done with it.

Thanks,
Travis

Any 81-85 brake booster will work fine.
