BOV question
#2
Got Boost?
I doubt it would be a bolt-on ordeal, cause if a 12a needs a BOV, it's far from being stock
Items needed:
BOV w/universal flange
Grinder of sorts
Welder
How-To:
Find a good place to put it: AFAIK the closer to the throttle plates, the better.
Use grinder to cut hole in piping matching the hole for the BOV flange.
Weld it on there.

hmm a BOV is used wiht a turbo, it releases excess air to prevent backspinning the turbo, yes it does make a nice sound too. i think you can get fake BOV's that just make the sound, go ask your local ricers they shoudl be able to help ya out there :] and as for a header its hmmm a fancy exhaust manifold? lol

im kinda stoned, is this guy actually asking these questions or is it just me.
get a exhaust and a air filter, get respect.
go the fake turbo route and, well, you see what happens.
you could turbo your car for real for about $1000. It would be really half assed and not intercooled, but it would work.

Replace the ACV or bypass it and hook the hoses into the BOV to dump the air pump's output when you start getting past 3000 rpm....
I can't believe I'm going to post this so all the bling-blingers can now run out and get their BOVs on their N/A 12A's....sheesh...
