alright
i have an 85 GS
first of all when i drive it sometimes it likes to bog down on me, it feels like its not getting enough gas to the car. but the wierd thing is it only happens when im in gear, i can put the car in nuetral and rev it all the way up in the rpm, but as soon as i release the clutch it starts it up again, then if i drive it to long or to hard, the damn thing shuts off completely, and i have to let it sit for a good 10 to 20 min. Now I have changed the pluggs, wires, and the distributer cap, and it is still doing it, can anyone help me.

How come every 2 days or so, someone posts the exact same symptoms, and the advice we all give is "change your fuel filter before you do anything else"!

I think we should make a sticky about this.

Maybe someone should stock an “Anti – Bog” Kit with a fuel filter and a replacement fuel pump.

They’d only really need the filter in most cases, but one would want to maintain a high level of profitability, so we could include the fuel pump.

You could also throw in a quart of MMO with every order. LOL
