Body panel compatibility?

Aside from the moldings being different, will '81-'85 fenders and doors fit on an '80?

bill, they'll fit just fine. you just have to take into consideration that the front bumper is different from the SA to the FB and if you convert to FB fenders, you'll also have to convert over to an FB front bumper. the doors will bolt up just fine too, but remember, the molding layout is different and the doors are shaped for their respective moudings. are you just in need of SA parts and can't find the correct parts?

Yeah, I've been having a really hard time finding body parts locally for my '80. I've only come across 1 rx7 in a salvage yard so far but it was an '85 with a bad body. I'm in the Syracuse NY area and I fear that any rx7 that I come across will be rusty.
