I have a 1984 gsl se and the rear quarter panels are pretty rusted and i think instead of repairing them i want to do a body kit i have looked around and all the ones i have seen i havened liked all that much i was wondering if there were any suggestions,(pictures would be awesome). Im also thinking about an intercooler, anyone have any pictures of how to install one with or without a body kit installed?

 

even with a body kit you should repair the rust, or it'll continue to eat your car. About the intercooler - you've already got a turbo installed?

 

What kits have you looked at and how bad and where is the rust, post pics of it. In the last line of my sig is my little project. Most seem to like it but it's a lot of work and can be very expensive if you can't do the work yourself.

I know i dont have money to invest in a widebody kit. Im looking for something thats about $500-1000. The rust isnt extensive and i will take care of it before a body kit is put on, there is a small home in the driver side rear quarter and the passenger side is close to about the same. I dont have a turbo installed yet but i will, im also looking for suggestions on that project too, but i will post a new thread. Im really only looking for sources for body kits, pictures would be awesome, everywhere i have looked it has been the same kit and im not too crazy about it especially for $750.
