Blue Smoke When Choke Is Out

Hey,
Im 18, just bougt an '84 RX-7....Its got a 12a, engine has about 60K miles on it. When I turn my car on after it has not been drove for a week or so I pull the choke out and when I do it puts out a lot of blue smoke until the car is warmed up and I push the choke back in. Is this normal?.....if not what could it be? Any help would....well....help
Thanx

White is coolant and blue is oil. I wouldn't worry about the blue smoke so long as it clears relatively quickly.

Check out this FAQ, it has some good info on the topic.

I dunno, condensation perhaps? So long as you aren't loosing coolant, you don't have to worry about it, IMHO. Same thing goes for blue smoke. If the car smokes blue on startup but still doesn't use much oil then there's nothing to worry about. It takes only a scant amount of oil to make smoke.

what i suggest is you watch your oil level and coolant level just to be safe...i have no smoke issues but i check them at least once a week
