Bleeding drum brakes

So a few of use were talking about bleeding brakes the other day and it got me thinking... Do you bleed the drums individually? Or is there just a valve on the passenger side? Since there is no 79 FSM on line and the 85 FSM seems to be down...

There is just a single bleed point for both drums.

80 FSM is pretty close to the 79, with the exception of the ignition setup and the sunroof.

With the drums the one brake line which comes to the rear of the car goes into the driver's wheel cylinder, then a line comes *out* of that wheel cylinder, over the axel, and into the passenger side wheel cylinder. That's where the one bleed valve is. As you're bleeding, any air goes all the way from the master, through the driver's side, and out the passenger's side.

With rear disks I believe there's a valve or something that splits the front line in two and there's a bleeder on each caliper, though I could be wrong about that. I've only worked on rear disks on an rx7 once.
