Black trim removal
#2
It is a pain in the butt.....don't do it . I have pianted the trim "on the car" and it work fine. But you do have to take you time and tape the area up good and protect the whole car from overspay (with sheets or something like it).. My buddy took off his and he wished he did not. He broke all the plastic clips and had to get new ones and when he put the trim back on, it did not fit as well. Maybe he was a rookie but I assume you are too. But like I said, I chickened out and painted the trim on the car and it came out real nice...I sanded off all the old paint , it was roughed up but that was better as the paint held on better ...can out nice. Just my method but others may tell you tak'em off...NOt me...cjf

I agree, don't take it off, Just paint it on the car, use an airbrush so you can set the nozzle to spray only a small area to reduce the chance of excess overspray. I plan to repaint my trim this summer useing this method. Good luck
